St Helens Quit Hero Stop Smoking Campaign at St Helens Christmas Lights Switch on

Offering immediate support to quit smoking working with Smoking Cessation workers. A free weekly attendance course is offered to encourage and support the quitting of smoking.
Handing out leaflets to passers by.

Health Checks Promotion for 40 - 74 year olds.
A health check assesses a person's risk of developing heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease and some forms of dementia.

Leaflets will be handed out signposting people to various venues in the Halton area (Widnes and Runcorn areas) where they can have a health check completed free of charge and healty lifestyle advice.

Offering immediate support to quit smoking throughout the month of October, working with Smoking Cessation workers, a CO Carbon Monoxide Test was offered to give a lung reading. A free weekly attendance course is offered to encourage and support the quitting of smoking.

Be Sun Safe

Campaign to raise awareness for parents to protect their children from UV rays and sunburn by applying high PSF Sun Protection lotion.

Venue was the anuual Phoenix Park family fun day Friday 5th August 2016
